The Death on the Balcony’s “Rivers, Tides, Miles & Memories” is the duo’s formal debut on the label. It seems to be inspired by the Star Trek original series. The tracks are infused with mysterious cosmic melodies, “Tides of Fortune” is a deep and intense favorite of Lee Burridge’s and Matthew Dekay’s performance at BPM.
“1700 miles” is delicate and deep with a simple infectious vocal sample. But as delicate as it is when played at home, it is driving and atmospheric when played at a big soundsystem.
