Welcome to our weekly article that features the latest techno mixes you must hear! We set out to showcase the cutting edge of contemporary Techno, whether it’s PeakTime Techno, Driving Techno, Hypnotic Techno, Raw Techno, or Deep Techno, it’s all here for you to enjoy.
Starting with the first mix from Markus Schulz. This German DJ is best known for his weekly radio show titled Global DJ Broadcast and this time he brings us a special 4-hour-long journey into techno sound. Down the Rabbit Hole is an incredible set, filled with dark, euphoric and mesmerizing dynamic techno.
Up next we have D-Nox and his 3-hour set recorded at the Alchemy stage at Boom Festival in Portugal. With a DJ career now entering its thirteenth year, the style of his DJ sets is to exhibit the great spectrum of sounds provided by house music; varying through progressive and tech-house whilst incorporating aspects of techno and trance.
This week on Drumcode Radio we have a mix from Josh Wink who has a new release on this label. Philadelphia-born and based Josh Wink is one of the true pioneers of techno, house and allied styles – blurring the definitions. The sound of Josh Wink today remains one of a man unafraid to walk the border between stylistic boundaries, which you can hear in this mix.
England’s Paula Temple is a highly respected DJ and producer of hard, uncompromising techno, and a technological innovator. Paula is considered one of the best underground outlets, so don’t miss her set from Time Warp 2022 featuring heavy tracks from producers such as Brutalismus 3000, Luciid and A*S*Y*S.
Next, we have a special b2b set from Nuno dos Santos & Remy Unger. Their mix from Loveland Festival is a proper techno workout, packed full of dancefloor-ready weapons. This duo also joined forces for ’77 Direct’ EP on Edwin Oosterwal’s label Rejected.
